Signs of a Healing Woman
by Sandy Wold, 2005
*She
finds her center quickly and has a strong inner core that is connected to
something far greater than herself. She
is unshakable.
*She
honors herself by setting clear limits.
*She
transforms trauma and crisis into opportunity and learning.
*She
can discern impure love which is needy from pure which is unconditional and
takes responsibility for unloving actions and mistakes.
*She
eats slowly, listens to her body when eating, and stops when she senses fullness.
*She
is self-aware and goes to her healing space when emotions stir, allowing them
to communicate, move, and release.
*She
listens to the wisdom within, transforming anger and resentment into responsibility,
powerful requests, and action where needed.
*She
self-examines with honesty, accepts her shortcomings, and transforms them
through intention.
*She
asks for help from a Higher Source when she is stuck and unable to transform
her shortcomings.
*She
looks in the mirror and likes what she sees.
*She
fully expresses herself through play, movement, art, speaking, singing, and/or
writing without holding back.
*She
welcomes her menstrual blood and honors herself by using her flow or her
menopause as a signal to rest, reflect, and redefine.
*She
can manifest things big and small and knows how to dissolve resistance that
blocks this process.
*She
surrounds herself with uplifting and supportive people.
*She
enrolls her employer or designs a business that honors and enables her to
express all of who she is and gives her economic independence, strength, and a
sense of abundance. If she so desires,
this job/business would support her to have and/or raise children in such a way
that would support her spiritual growth and self-nurturance.
*She
touches and caresses herself to comfort, to love, and to feel alive in her
body.
*She
is affectionate with others, kind with her words, and knows when to put others
before herself.
*She
communicates her sexual pleasure and preferences to her lover freely and without
shame.
